Video's that have inspired me

The following screenshots are elements from different music videos that have inspired me with our own video.

There two shots are from M.I.A - Paper Planes, a black and white filter is used whist an orange/pink colour is picked out to stand out. We are definitely going to use this technique in our music video to highlight our theme colour of red. We will use a base track of the London traffic and use this effect to make the buses and phone boxes stand out. We are also going to use it on the artist at points to highlight her red nails/lipstick/rose.

Rita Ora  - Shine Ya Light

In relation to mis-en-scene Rita Ora's styling in this video is similar to the look we want to create for our artist. She wears a parka style jacket, gold chain and a beanie hat (always wearing red lipstick like our artist)

She is shown wearing headphones at one point, which will be a prop for our artist in the scene where she is running through a park.

This shot tracks the artist as she walks towards the camera, moving backwards in time with her. We want to use this technique while filming the skate park scene.

We want to recreate this blurry effect in our video ^^^

Jessie J - Domino

In many of her videos Jessie J includes a number of base tracks for each Location/costume. We want to use this technique in our video as the constant change of base tracks will ensure that the visuals are always engaging the audience.
