How will our music video differ from the original?
Here is the original music video for Delilah- Love you so:
Initially, we were advised not to pick a song that already had a music video. However after researching the song and artist, we found out that Delilah is not a main stream artist, and 'Love You So' was not in the UK top 40 chart. We also found out that Delilah did not have as many YouTube views as a mainstream artists such as Jessie J would have. After all the research we done and saying how our video will differ from the original, we were given the ok to go ahead with our song choice.
Our music video will differ completely from the original video. We are using completely different locations, costumes, props and settings. In the original video Delilah choose to set her video in a studio, whereas in our music video we have chosen various locations such as; south bank skate park, London bridge, Regents park and Eversholt street. In the original video, Delilah changes costume 3 times, whereas our singer will change costume 4 times. Unlike Delilah, our costumes will be more colourful and we will also have a theme of red props, e.g red lipstick and nails. Another way our video will differ from the original is the use of extras. Delilah has a male extra in her video, whereas our video will only feature the artist.
