Target Audience

The target audience is very important when making a video. we must contain certain aspects and props in our video which reach out to the intended audience. I would say Delilah's audience are working women with kids but also teens aged 16-26. this quote would explain what she feels her audience is.

"She adds that her audience is “just like me and the two women working on the show, who were once listeners. We are single parents who work hard to strike a balance between family and work life. We also enjoy our friendships and remember to laugh as much as possible."

Her target audience can relate to her due to the fact she is trying to be similar to them and this will help her connect more with her audience and fans as they believe they can look up to her and want to aspire to be like her. Her dress sense is manipulated to appeal to her audience, she has the motherly look as seen in the picture above which appeals the young women .

However she asl o has that edgy sexy and stylish look which appeals to teenage girls and men aged 22- 30. The way she dresses appeals to satisfy the male audience with a male gaze and appeals to teenagers as to say they would want to grow up to look like her.
