What is the appeal of a music video?



What do we as consumers look for in a music video?


More than anything, the audience needs to be entertained by what they see on screen. This is achieved through all three key areas: Mis-en-scene, Camera work, Editing and Sound (the song). Whether the music video uses illustration, disjuncture or amplification it must keep the audience interested.
