Font, colours, layout and design ideas

First of all - when i started making the mock up I had it in mind that I would use a brick wall as a main theme. However, looking back at the original planning, we didn't even discuss this as a theme so it seems a bit irrelevant. So, even though my mock up includes this, I won't use it in my real digipak.

My new ideas...

I am going to use a graffiti font throughout my ancillary work, I found these styles from various font creator websites. I think the first is a bit too bold, something in between the two would be good. I might use two fonts, a bolder one for the album and artist name and something more discreet for the rest, but both in a graffiti style font.

I want to stick with a simple colour pallet of red, black and white. This will allow for the main aspect of synergy (colour red) to stand out.

To correspond with the graffiti font, I will use graffiti patterns as panel on the inside of my digipak and on the CD. This will probably also feature in my advertisement. I have experimented with filtering the graffiti print to make it all red. I have used to website pixlr.com, but will experiment with doing this on adobe photoshop.
